1967 Ford Mustang Fastback

Mustang Mania have been looking after this Ruddspeed right hand drive Mustang for a number of years. The car came to them for a pair of front wings as they had gone a little rusty. A pair of new wings from their stock were found and they started the process of test fitting and then getting them ready for paint.
They mentioned that “…the insides of the Ruddspeed cars were done to a great standard at the time and they have certainly lasted the test of time. Seeing one for the first time can make you do a double take”.

Here is a link the their website where Mustang Mania talk about the Mustang:

It was also spotted on the Historics Auctioneers website as being sold back in 2014. They said “This Mustang was built in 1966 and supplied with an original Marti Report, finished in black with contrasting deep red interior which, incidentally, was the original colour combination. Owned by the current vendor for the past 20 years, this Mustang was converted to righthand drive by Ruddspeed of Worthing prior to original sale in 1967 and since had its original 289ci engine replaced with a refurbished 1969 302ci block. The current owner has had only sympathetic modifications added to include electric ignition, diagonal seatbelts, electronic washer pumps, Koni shock absorbers and FM added to the original radio unit.”
