Wim Van de Kimmenade sent these photos of his 1965 Volvo PV544, the photos were taken by his brother Hans around the time Wim was studying at The Chelsea College of Aeronautical & Automobile Engineering (1968 -1970). 

The car was originally fitted with the B18D engine and of course a 4 speed gearbox. Wim says he insisted on having the P544 tuned by Ruddspeed and the modifications consisted of the bigger SUs and the special exhaust manifold, resulting in a considerable increase in performance, as well as a nice exhaust sound! 

The guy sitting on the floor next to the front wheel is Wim, he thinks he was painting some letters and numbers on the tyres in order to highlight the tyres.
